After punching or laser cutting your blanks, we can bend them, also known as setting. Bending flat sheet metal to a 3D model is our expertise. Our 3D department has a SafanDarley E-Brake 100-3100 Standard NS press brake. This is a fully electrically driven type with a maximum bending length of 3060 millimetres. Besides steel, Gerritsen van Groningen also manufactures aluminium and stainless-steel bending.
Bending is a processing technique used to shape products permanently. By deforming the metal, fragile parts can be reduced, and constructions become more solid by turning them to a degree.
